Retirement Is Exhausting

I have been retired for two days and it has been nothing but work. Our realtor called and said the closing date has been moved up to Friday, April 10. One less weekend to move from a 2500 square foot house to a 290 square foot trailer and a 120 square foot storage unit. We have to go through everything we have and decide if it goes in the trailer, in storage, or to the dump. We had planned on selling some stuff and donating others. Any way to sell or donate has dried up so most will go to the dump.

Jan did get rid of some stuff, on thing at a time, on Next Door. She didn’t get much cash, but at least some things went to a new home.

I tried the Whispering Wheat beer from the growler. It tastes fine but a little under carbonated. A few more days will give it more CO2. The Blackeye Bock is fermenting along. I will have to move it to the trailer before bottling, probably on Tuesday. That will give it time to settle.

We are moving the trailer to the campground on Monday. Everything will be loaded this weekend. The RV life will begin soon.
