Springtime

It's springtime and the wildflowers are in full bloom. We actually took this drive back in March, I just haven't been keeping up the website like I should be.

March brought warmer weather and rain showers. That leads to blooms everywhere. Different fields have different flower combinations. The blue ones are Bluebells, the orange ones are Indian paintbrush, I don't know what the yellow ones are. I didn't get a picture of the pink Mexican Primroses but there are a lot of them too

Round Top is famous in Texas for antiques. There are a lot of antique stores in town and along the highway to get there. We stopped at one place. Here are the pictures from there.

In other news, I will be unretiring next month. I will be working with my old team at Blue Shield as a consultant.
