We left Garberville one day early because the rain storm will be much worse on Sunday. Today it was just drizzly.

We are at the Napa Fair Grounds RV Park. It is nice, but not very big. It has maybe 30 sites.
Mendocino and Humbolt counties have flash flood warnings and wind warnings for Sunday. We didn't want to pack up and drive through that. It was raining up in the redwoods, but it was only drizzling in Napa. I didn't get nearly as wet as I did while setting up camp in Garberville.
We had a dog emergency in Garberville (actually it started in Sacramento). Last Saturday, Porter got his toenail caught in the outdoor rug and started spinning around. There was blood around his toenail so we thought he just tore his nail. He spent the day walking around on 3 legs and looking miserable in his bed. On Sunday we drove to Garberville, but he still wouldn't walk on his back leg. We decided he needed to see a vet, but it was Sunday and the only vet in Garberville was not open on Sunday.
We got him in on Monday afternoon. Apparently, the toenail was the least of his problems. He had dislocated his hip too. The vet popped it back in to place and he started putting some weight on it again. He really didn't start walking on it until Tuesday and Wednesday. He is fine now.
We didn't do much in Garberville because it was foggy and rainy.
I hope the Napa weather is better. Sunday will not be, but maybe Monday and Tuesday will let us get out and run around.
