Cañon City

We are in Cañon City. Here is the view from the back window of our trailer.

There are 2 miniature horses back there, but they were out of the shot.

The RV Park is small and the sites are large. They put some of the sites up for sale and that gave them the income to fix up the park. I could buy the site we are in for $65,000.

This is our first morning here. We will go check out the town today. Tomorrow we have tickets for the lunch train through the Royal Gorge.

Fun fact about Cañon City: the population of the 13 prisons is 36,000. The population of the town is 16,000. The super max prison is very obvious when you see it from the Highway.
