Beer Update

The last time I mentioned beer, the Blackeye Bock was in the fermenter. Well, now it’s done. I put it half the batch in my growler and bottled the other half. The beer in the growler is great. I will definitely make this recipe again. The bottles are not ready. They need to sit another week in the bottles and finish carbonating.


I brewed up another recipe and it is in the fermenter now. It might be ready to bottle on Thursday. This one is called Aztec Mexican Cervesa. The recipe says it is for people who like Corona or Dos Equis. I made this before and it is more like Negro Modelo. I will end up up with more bottles this time. The big growler still has the bock so I will have to use the little growler.

I think I can make one more batch before we have to hit the road. It needs to be something that will ferment in 10 to 14 days. Maybe I will brew a porter next. We’ll see.
