Today was another travel day. We will be staying here in Goldendale for a week.

We have a lovely view of the Dollar General store. On the plus side, we can walk to a Mexican restaurant, McDonalds, and Papa John's Pizza.
The lady that checked me in said that the County Fair starts tomorrow and goes through Sunday. Who knows, maybe we will go get some funnel cake and corn dogs.
Our future trip is looking a little like a wildfire mess. One fire is in Pollock Pines and threatening Placerville. RV parks usually get filled up with evacuees so our stay in Shingle Springs may be in trouble. If it turns out like the Paradise fire, then people with burned out homes will stay at nearby RV parks and that may include Cal Expo. I hope they get that fire out soon.
We may have a problem getting from the coast over to Red Bluff. 299, which is our usual route is closed. 36 is the next best route and it is closed. That leaves 20 going through Clear Lake. It now has a fire too. If they don't get that one out, then the only way back is to either go all the way down to Sonoma/Napa and come back up. I guess we could also go up to 199 and go back into Oregon at Grants Pass and come back down. Either of those last two routes would add an extra day.
On a happy note, I tried my beer today and it's almost ready. The last couple of days have been cooler than the yeast likes so it isn't quite ready yet. It made the trip without spilling. I think that is the first trip without a spill.
